Pulled into the garage and noticed the odometer hit 50, 000 on the nose. My trusty Subaru will be 5 in March.... He still has a lot of good years ahead of him...
This is my third Sub....it is hard to believe it was 20 years ago when I bought my first one. I wanted a 4-wheeldrive that was easy to go into ( I didn't want a car that I had to get out and "turn the hubs"). That first car was a 5 speed...I went down to look at one and ended up driving it home. That in itself was a hair raising moment as I hadn't driven a stick in years and had to get the car through city traffic. I spent the whole weekend practicing in an empty parking lot. I have always had a wagon..very practical. Secretly I drool over the Saturn Sky convertible!!!!

What a coincidence! My beloved Hyundai just turned 50K last week. I watched it happen. My vehicle is younger than yours, though--2 1/3 yrs old. Lots and lots of interstate commuting explains the difference.
Retirement has it's perks!!!
