The Pilgrims and Friends arrived last night. We have had these for a while. They were made by my dad. The turkey is sporting striped socks!!! We are the only folks in the neighborhood to decorate for Thanksgiving. I find it to be ridiculous, but some are actually starting to put up their outside Christmas decorations!!!! Yea, I know it's warm out and the weather is nice. But there is nothing that says "Christmas" other than trying to put stuff up in a snow storm while standing on an icy ladder with frozen fingers!!!!
Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday. Sadly it is the "Lost Holiday" as we seem to go from Halloween (which I hate) right to Christmas. The Good Husband and I were married over Thanksgiving weekend... although our anniversary can be before, on, or after Thanksgiving. Drives the family nuts!
My brother is coming in for the weekend and we are celebrating Thanksgiving on Saturday with a family meal. We are really looking forward to the time together.

Dear Laura...thank you for visiting and your comments. I love Norman Rockwell...we went to his museum in Mass. a few years ago. You must be starting to enjoy the summer months now...we look forward to your fruit in the winter!
