It is time, the seeds are nice and black, so we will start to harvest God's bounty on our little apple tree.
Our apples are very crisp and slightly tart... and very good....
So today I shall make a nice apple crisp and and apple cider cake. Next week I plan to start to make apple butter. My dad is going to have a hip replacement on Wednesday, so we will be busy back and forthing to the hospital.
I am going to save the best apples and wrap them up and keep them in the cool spot under our bilco door. ( That is the door that opens to the steps leading down to our basement). We will use them for our Thanksgiving pies and stuffing.
