This is the garden of a friend of mine. She does have help from a son. They live out in the country, and the house was built in 1865. She is 82, and along with gardening she knits, quilts, and cans. She just put up 3 bushels of peaches! My friend is a retired English teacher, and part time actress. We asked her what doesn't she do, and she said "housework"...
She and her husband just celebrated 60 years of marriage! Imagine....
This past spring they went to Egypt for their anniversary trip and she got to ride a camel.
