Could you hear me scream??????

I went down to our basement to put a few things from summer away, and get out a few fall decorations.

This was draped ever so lovely on that box.....


It is a snake skin..... which means that the thing that slithered out of it is still in our basement. The Good Husband got rid of the skin. We believe it belongs to a blacksnake, which is harmless. HOWEVER IT BELONGS TO A SNAKE THAT IS IN MY BASEMENT. I am totally creeped out going down there. I am sure you will know when I find the owner... will probably be a scream heard around the world.

We better find it before Christmas... our tree is down there...and I don't want to find that the garland is alive!!!!

As a side note, "it" is now part of a "touch and feel" science table in a 7th grade classroom.
