"They Were Just Boys"I love our American history...especially from our Colonial Era and our American Civil War. My family arrived in this country between 1917-1925, so while I do not have a direct tie to the country's actor's in history...it was their actions that granted the ability for my grandparents to come here.
My love of the American Civil War always seems to put us in some historical place for weekend trips and vacation. During our last trip to Gettysburg in August, I took some photos. I entered one in a photography contest with the "Civil War Preservation Trust". Out of 2000 entries, my photograph was one of 13 picked. So I placed third in the "People on Battlefields" category! I am so excited... a national win!
