Patterns

All of volunteer sunflowers are starting to bloom.

I simply love the patterns of the centers. Plus there are little tiny flowerettes that separate the petals from the center. Did you know that??? They are also very sweet, the centers are just oozing sticky nectar.

The birds are going to love these in a couple of weeks. We will save the dried heads and put them out in the dead of winter.
