You may see a lot of these...

Last year we have exactly ZERO blossoms in our orchard. (Our Orchard consists of one heirloom apple tree. We had two, one died, the labels blew off, so I have no idea what the variety is. Our Farm is a 16x16 foot garden, our Woods is the half lot in back of our house that we never cleared) I figure the tree is either a biannual producer, or it needs majorly pruned. Two years ago it gave us five bushels of apples. This year the tree is full of blossoms.

Today they have started to pop. You can almost hear the blooms going "pop pop pop". Two springs ago I started photographing the tree. The photographs I took is what really changed me and opened up the world of photography for me. That was three cameras ago. Some day I hope to get the Nikon I dream of...but I sometimes wonder if that camera's pictures would be any better.

So today you get to see the first Apple Blossom. Many more I am sure will follow.
