The apple blossoms are all but done. But here is the bottom a apple. We do have a long way to go before we get the pie or the crisp though.
It is an heirloom apple tree. Variety unknown. We planted two, one died, the wind ripped off the tag on this one, so we guess. Just know they are darn good apples.

Great minds think alike. I posted an apple orchard today.
We had a not-very-old apple tree in our yard in Ohio when I was growing up. It produced small green apples that my mother would bake into pies. I remember asking my father if Johnny Appleseed could have planted that tree. He wisely answered that he didn't know but it was possible.
