The fragrance while walking through the yard is wonderful. The morning smells so fresh ( snow morning does not count). The lilacs catch on a breeze and you can smell them almost anywhere. Our flowering cherry has a lovely scent, and the best part of photographing the apple tree is being able to inhale the lovely perfume. (Sadly the wind storm Sunday battered the tree and ripped off a lot of blossoms and bruised the flowers.) On Mother's Day I was able to get a great photo of the nephew and niece who were visiting from Virginia in front of it.
These are the Lilies of the Valley. The original plant was in my grandmothers yard. My mom took some for her yard, and I then took some for my yard. They are low growing, so I have spent some time on the ground today. The reward was being able to enjoy their heady scent. One of my favorite colognes when I was a kid was "Muguet"-- French for Lily of the Valley.

Beautiful, beautiful. I love your new banner, by the way.
I envious.
Garden much wild and overrun.
Spent two days hunting for irises in the undergrowth.
Back hurt.
