Simple pleasures, con't
The first local corn of the season, cut fresh yesterday morning. History by yesterday evening. It is coming from the valley farmers. Our ridgetop corn has another month to go.
I've developed an antipathy to corn-on-the-cob over the years. Besides getting stuck in my teeth, I'm not sure I trust anything that "passes through" essentially unchanged.
