The ice storm gave the kids the day off from school on Wednesday. The two children next door took advantage of the icy slope in their yard to go rocketing down on their saucers. I was watching from upstairs...as I was worried about them ending up in the street. Which is exactly where they would stop...in the middle of the road. I can hear grandma saying to them "Don't go into the road with those things" and the unison chorus saying "We won't". But it was fun that they had.
