I woke up in the wee hours and looked outside....I didn't see them, but they were here. Deer... and lots of them. They are going after the bird feeders. When we first moved here 16 years ago we were in the woods and had a whole herd that hung out here. Over the last few years as the development grew they got pushed back...which didn't bother me as they stopped eating all the plants in the yard. It must be this extreme cold (3Am it was 5below) which is bringing them back up. We haven't had deer in a long time. One night I hope I get to see them. It's hard to believe one can have all these visitors and not know it!!!
