HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

The town of Williamsburg held their First Night Celebration. We heard some wonderful music..to include an awesome Hand Bell Choir. I don't know if I could play with that group...almost intimidating! We also heard one of my favorite Virginia recording artists, who plays a hammered dulcimer. Afterward we went to Colonial Williamsburg as the Good Niece is a performer in a Christmas program that Colonial Williamsburg offers. So we enjoyed the town softly lit, and the warmth that the cressents provided. It was a very cold night for down here, the wind chill was 10!

The venues were held on the William and Mary campus.
This is in the Wren building. The group played 16th and 17th century music...once could imagine the the presence of some very famous founding fathers. I liked the way the light came into the windows.

This is Sir Christopher Wren...all decked out.

This tree was near Market Square, the tree was beautiful and you can see the silver of the moon on the right.

Happy New Year!!!!!
