In Colonial Williamsburg they have these Bird Bottles on the sides of the homes. In the spring they become the homes of house wrens. We have one on a tree in the back and have never had any residents. If a family came looking for a new home today, it doesn't look to inviting!!!
Our little "pigbirds" cleaned this feeder out today. We filled in last night and by 5pm it was empty. Usually with this one they will manage to get the green bottom off as the signal that it is completly empty!
We have had a flock of some really pretty plum/reddish breasted birds this week. This is one of them
