My Lilacs made it! These are baby lilacs!!! The bush my grandfather bought me 20 years ago this May for the house that I had bought. The Good Husband and I moved it here 15 years ago..and it has given me probably 10 whole blooms. Not this year...the bush is loaded... and I can't wait. They are my favorites.
This is what we have been waiting for for almost six months....setting the porch up. We live out here all summer. This morning the first cup of coffee and the paper... Life is good.
(the big ugly fence belongs to the stupid neighbor...but I won't go there now...pretty soon the trees will be in leaf and I won't have to look at it until October)
