6 months from now people will be bellyaching about how hot it is (I am not part of that chorus)...
So this was my morning.... it isn't any better at the moment... 8 hours later and we are holding at 5 whole degrees... (NOTE ADDED 1/21: I keep forgetting to add the conversion numbers...our temps on Sunday ran between -14 to -17 C) I don't even count the wind chill on a day like this ( which is a very rude 15 belowF (-26C) )....I stay inside, not even a toe goes out. Made some chili yesterday, and put a small crock pot full on the back porch to hold till this morning so I could share with the parents. I gave them a solid block of chili this morning at church.
We have such great shadows this time of year. This is the back porch and the lattice. We live on the porch all summer, and the lattice never makes a shadow as it is covered with a wisteria vine. Which after 14 years has yet to give me ONE bloom. So I findly got disgusted this past summer and bought a bunch of fake ones and stuck in the vine... I thought maybe a little encouragment might help

And down here in Australia is has been HOT HOT HOT. So it'll be 6 months' time when we're complaining of the cold here instead.
