They are still with me....

Did some cleaning and spiffing up today. This is the "grandmother" table in my dining room. The table was my great grandmother's, and my maternal grandmother made the crocheted table cloth. She was going to rip it apart because she found a mistake in it someplace, but I got it! The "Gone With the Wind" lamp was from my dad's mom. The teacups belonged to them all. Tea just plain tastes better in a china teacup. The roses are my husband's "babies". While all of these grand ladies, who played an important part in my life, may be in Glory...I can still sit and enjoy a cup of tea with them.

Tucked away in the corner was my terrarium. I started this 4 years ago while on a trip to Maine. I filled it with everything from the Maine woods...little trees, rocks, peat moss, ferns, and used the lake water to start it out. I have since transplanted the trees. But loandbehold, the fern is still going... 4 years later. No wonder you find them on fossils....
