I sat very still on the back porch this morning and was greatly rewarded. My litte bird friends posed ever so lovely. We currently have a bird sanctuary here. The Good Husband bought a 50pound bag of sunflower seed...so there is gourmet dining here. As a result the word has gotten out to Birdland and we are getting some really nice visitors. Our woods in the back was so incredibly noisey today with all of the chirping and singing. After the silence of winter it is such a wonderful calliope of sound.
Mr. Goldfinch modeled his very lovely plumage for me.
