In this interesting primary season, the vote from my state will actually matter...a lot. Usually the nominees are picked before Pennsylvania's primary. Our phone is ringing off the hook with candidate calls, the mail box is stuffed full everyday, and the ads on TV are getting ridiculous.
Obama and Hillary were both in
Johnstown as was Bill Clinton and
Chelesa. Well Sunday night we were told that Bill was going to be in my town this evening...first President to come here since Grover Cleveland in 1920. Politics aside, the good husband and I went. Not
everyday a President--even a former one comes to our little town. So I have seen four...Johnson, Regan, Bush2, and Clinton1... and the Queen. ( I never saw Bush1 when he was the VP, but I use to brief his pilot all the time when the would fly out of the Navy side at Andrews AFB)

Tomorrow is the annual "junk in your house" pick up day. Anything you want to get rid of, anything...put it at the curb and the big trucks will come. We all were laughing...here comes the President and the curbs are piled high with old junk.
The
house in the picture was built in 1889, and now our county's
Historical Society home. The picture is taken from my church. Where that parking lot is there use to be house very similar. It was razed in 1973, as it was in horrible condition, which was a shame.
