Friday was a sad sad day here.... it is all put a way. Our happy little porch that gives us so much pleasure, the place that we live on all summer... the pieces are now in the basement. It looks so empty out there now. I have a "thing" about the summer furniture getting snowed on..and we are expecting 3 or 4 days of snow starting Monday. So it is time. As I have always said...I am a summer child!!!
The good thought is we get one whole extra week of daylight savings time. Next Sunday daylight will end early. Once I make the adjustment though, I don't mind the early darkness. We cook a little more, and enjoy working on our inside projects. It does become a cozying time.
