We were at the event by 6:15 AM to get in line. The doors opened at 7AM. It was a very exciting morning. The event was just announced on Monday and wewere lucky to get tickets, as they were gone rather quickly. There was a waiting list, but the event was "sold out" (although the tickets are free). We were able to get really good seats. (We could have gotten a spot on the floor right in front of the podium, but the thought of standing from 7:30 to 10:30 just didn't work for me. Plus the area is a hockey rink, and you are standing on the covering over the ice.) We did laugh at the hockey food being served at 8AM...pizza, nachos, fries and chicken fingers!!! Not a doughnut in site!
There was a good size crowd.
But more exciting was the lady that came to our area...
