We decided to put a small tree in our family room this year. So I spent the last two days doing the decorations ( so much for cookie baking.....). I had a bag of pine cones that I had gathered in Williamsburg, really nice ones. So I sprayed them gold, and then glittered them. (by the way Martha Stewart's glitter is the best I have ever used). I then made snow flakes from a paper punch and glitter glued them. The perch every so lovely on the branches. The glitter doesn't show up so well here, but trust me the pine cones are lovely. So is my house.....there is glitter from one end to the other. I noticed that the Good Husband left for church this morning and he sparkled a bit.......
I'm not wild about the picture (flash was used), and it's not like one has never seen a glittered pinecone before, but this shows the concept better.
