The Good Husband's Big Band played at a local event Saturday. They play a lot of different charts, but there is always the good ol' Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey standbys. In the crowd was this couple, sitting in their lawn chairs. It took all of their effort to get up and just walk. Then they came together for the dance.... and you could see the years just melt away. Dancing in front you was a sassy young woman and handsome man in a uniform. They just smiled and turned this way and that, he held her hand ever so tightly, her hand on his shoulder, and where one.
