We tilled up our back porch roof!!!! We can't get a ladder to the roof, so we worked out of the windows. We used our extension tree trimmer, shovel, rake and the scuffle hoe.
We have been in our home for 17 winters. This is the first time we have felt the need to get the snow off. It is the first time the snow made past the window sills upstairs. There have been so many roof collapses in the area, it is scary. We were having visions of the it collapsing at the house, and just pulling the side of the house off!! ( ok... doubt that would have happened, but it won't for sure now)
This month will probably go down as the snowiest February ever. That I would believe. But today was a happy day.... IT DID NOT SNOW, the sun was out, it got to 38 degrees, and there was some melting. They are talking about another "one" the end of the week......
