We have heard on the news of the blizzards affecting you but these posts really bring it home far more. Hope you will soon be green and warm again but it looks as if it might be a way off yet.
And to think I've just written a post about weather - I really must try harder not to moan about the English climate!
Living in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania we are use to winter, and can handle it. HOWEVER... this has been a bit too much, and after a while I find it less than enchanting and I find the song " Let It Snow" to be annoying!!!! I truly feel bad for those to the east of us, especially Washington DC. They just aren't equipped to deal with...especially at this magnitude. I lived in DC in the late '70's and experienced a 30 incher (75cm)and it was awful! We have to get through March...historically our snowiest month!!!! I will not utter one word of complaint when the summer brings us hot and humid days!!!!
