And yet another storm. This one packed some high winds and caused the worst drifting. Yesterday most of our main roads were shut down due to drifting and whiteouts.
In all our years in our home (17), this is the first time that I could not walk through the drift in the back. It was shoulder tall and about 20 feet. Every vertical foot of snow took 10-15 shovels to dig down.
I told Mums "Escape is futile"
YEA!!! I managed a shovel path out the back.....
This is the view off our back porch...one would nver know we had 5 steps off this porch! We can't get to the birdfeeders. One of the feeders in the back is all but buried.
