I could not walk out to the road...the snow was up to my hips there
I found our newspaper..... the headline said it all.....
With some work we broke through
But it was pretty discouraging......
Then the calvary arrived!!!!! (the good neighbor)
So we now how piles of snow.... everywhere.....
The garden is behind this pile
There is twice as much drive not uncovered...and so it shall be!
The snow has blue cast to it....tells us it's a southern storm snow, as it has a high water content (thanks Gulf of Mexico!!!) We had to get it cleared now, as the longer we wait the heavier it gets!
There is another storm due on Tuesday..... oh joy!
Mums was wild this morning. She dashed from door to window, to door, and would look back at us as if say "You have got to be kidding me!!! Will this ever stop?" I told her be happy she's a housecat now, she was born in a barn and would not be happy now!!!!
Here she is thinking really hard about going out......
She's brave... and out she went... for 30 seconds...at no time did all 4 paws touch the ground at the same time!!!!
I don't feel bad that we did not get 30 inches.... 21 was more than enough!!!!
