My dad had a 35mm camera when I was little and has a nice collection of slides. In today's world what do you do with them? The projectors are so old, you can't even get bulbs for them. We looked into sending the slides out to have them "digitized", but that is expensive.
Then I found this niffy little gadget, it attaches to my Kodak Z812. 
You simply insert the slide in the opening at the front and point to a good light (I used the sunny front door today). So I now have some captured in a 8 mega pixel copy. I was rather impressed with the outcome. Also the memories are a lot of fun. So I have have 5 more magazines to go. After I am finished, I plan to put them into Photostory or Photoshow and get my folks to add the narration.
