The last of the ice on the patio was melting today. The ice started as snow with some leaves blown on from the wind. Then we had some ice storms, then a quick thaw a few weeks ago, followed by a deep freeze. With all that carrying on, the leaves became frozen in ice. Today it is a glorious 62 degrees outside, and the ice is almost all gone. The leaves though are melting with an imprint. If you pick the leave up, you have a leaf shaped outline in the ice. Rather pretty.
