I am a firm believer that we must get back to the founding principles of this country and we must do so firmly with the belief and power of God. And we best be doing it soon...as in now.
These shots were taken from atop a pillar at the WWII Memorial. No, it wasn't me that scampered up, my knees barely held up during a day of walking. Atop the pillars were some agile young men who took my camera I passed up. Quite a scene....
This is as close as we got, which wasn't too bad. We were able to listen to the whole event on our MP3 players and an FM feed. Also this is about I saw...heads and shoulders. Being there was what was important....
The DC Fire Department kindly provided a cooling station....
