From the tricentenial in 1897. Today was another hot Virginia day....
The last time the two of us stood here was in 1964.... my we haven't changed a bit.....
In recent years they have found the footprints of the fort and church. They are doing the archolgical excavations now.
When I was last here in 2007...there was a eagle's nest. The National Park had a web cam on them. This is Virginia, was of the eaglettes that I saw then... She is beautiful..
