The Saturday before Christmas was our first big snow. Our Good Neighbor came over with his big blower to help the Good Husband out with driveway cleaning.
After the big snow, the outside decorations really looked lovely....
We decided to go out that night to look at other decorations, but the roads were not plowed yet. I am thankful for my trusty steed, the Subaru
Christmas Day we were suppose to have 11 over for dinner. Except it was a day of freezing rain, and we ended up with 5. We had a good time and the next day the ice had melted (of course!).
Mums, the cat, celebrated 8 months with us and her 9th month of energetic life. She is starting to settle down ( a bit) and while she does not like going out anymore in the snow, she had discovered the thrill of a dark basement. And laying on me with an afghan!!!
Some days where just a bit too much with all the activity, so she took to hiding out under the tablecloth at the dining room table.
It's hard to believe it is the close of another year. They are starting to come faster and faster!
Happy New Year to All and all of God's Blessings to you!
