I probably would have never bought "white phlox"...however "Miss Elsie Hughes Wedding Phlox" conjures up all sorts of possible stories. Was Miss Elsie a young lady who married her young solider beau before he went off to fight for the Union? Or was she a southern lass whose young man was a Confederate officer?
