All is well. I will say that the drugs they use in the OR have improved greatly over the years. I told the the nurse I would love to have a vial or two of that "Jimmy Buffet Drug" that they give you to relax. I relax...but I also talk my fool head off!!!! I think I'm worse than a 5 year old... what's this, what's that, what is that for, what are you doing, yak yak yak, then they figure they have a "talker" and just slap the pink mask on me. Lights out......
I have ditched the crutches and am using a cane when I choose to. This time the "behaving myself" was the ticket, and I am doing pretty good. The knee has gotten worse in the last year, and it is just a matter of time before it goes into the soup pot. I am hoping I can get 5 years out of it. I don't think I will be a contender for "Dancing With The Stars"... the costume department was so disappointed..............................
