The shadow from the maple tree is changing. The branches are showing a "fluffiness" and have lost the fine stark lines. In just this week the buds have just gone crazy.This is a true sign of spring.... the township's rock sucking street sweeper truck came through the neighborhood. I for one will be glad not to have this stuff being being tracked into the house. The car brings the rocks into the garage, not to mention our boots and shoes.
BUT HERE IS THE SIGN I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR......THE ROBINS ARE BACK. THIS FELLOW GREETED ME THIS MORNING. (last year I had the first yard robin on the 5th of March, this one arrived on the 6th). Friday was a lovely warm day here....in the 60's, so I had a window and door open and I could hear their sweet spring song. All I can say is PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!
