Hiatus

Hiatus--- that's a word actor's use when then stop filming a TV series and go on vacation. I am not an actor, and I am not going on vacation. I plan on having a lot more fun......

At the end of November 2007, I had to have arthroscopic surgery on my right knee as I had torn the meniscus in it. I followed in March of 2008 with the same surgery for the left knee. Then that followed with a broken left foot in August. I thought I was all done..... WRONG!!!! Turns out the meniscus tore again in my right knee and I had to have it scoped again Monday. The last time it took nearly 3 months for it to come back. Mainly because I was too active after the surgery. Plus it just has some "issues"... mostly dealing with my gene pool. So this time I am going to park my butt on the couch and do nothing except let it heal. There is just nothing to take a picture of that would be interesting from this vantage point. So I am going to take a photographer's break for a while. Check back next Monday and see if I am up an moving.

I've been watching the Accuweather long range forecasts and the good news is there doesn't seem to be any snow coming our way. If winter is almost over that means spring is really coming. With that happening I want to be all mobile so I can get outside and start shooting the Happy Springy World!!!!

So this is our forsythia now.... let's see how it looks when I am more mobile.....

Till later..................

Hope your knee will be fine as soon as possible. Sorry for that happening to such an active person like you.
Resting in bed can be the time to read, watch tv, write and chat a lot.
Spring are waiting for you.
Here we have still sunny, warm days.
Best wishes
