Yesterday evening we had a line of thunderstorms come through here. Very loud, very bright- some very intense lightning, and heavy winds with driving rain and hail. I tried like the dickens to get some lightning photos, but just couldn't hit that moment with the camera. I also got to the point that I figured it was very unwise to be standing in the middle of the yard pointing my camera skyward while all this rucus was going on around me!!! Then after it was all over, for that fleeting moment we had a rainbow!
