Our Sunday ride took us to a road we have never traveled....let alone even was aware of.
We were looking for an orchard...specifically one that was open on a Sunday.
Rt.96 is an absolutely beautiful drive. The whole area was orchards....just full of apples.
The view from the highway was spectacular.
The orchard have a lovely fall display, complete with a very happy and friendly cat.
We came home with a trunk load of goodies....a big bag of apples (which will become something quite yummy this week) cider, and a 9 pound head of cabbage.
