MooseFest

We passed through southern Vermont late this afternoon on our way to Bennington. We hit some wicked rainstorms the last hour our trip. Upon arriving in Bennington, we noticed the streets were lined with painted Mooses.





It is Moosefest 2009!



There are 50 Mooses in town...needless to say I did not find half of them. There was even a moose in the "Hannaford" grocery.


This fellow must have been celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock!



This fellow was in the local gift shop....

"Not your garden variety moose"

The Christmoose....

I was amused by the sign....

I know "Mooses" may not be grammatically correct... but 50 Moose is a lot of Mooses.
