This is my Easter bread, ready for the Blessing of the Baskets. It is full of eggs, butter, and sugar... for the joy a breaking the Lenten fast. Which was broken as soon as the first loaf came out of the oven. My grandmother used to make these. I know she would be proud that one of her granddaughters has carried on the tradition. (cue Teveya..."Tradition...... Tradition.....")
