This is our favorite

When my brother lived in Maryland, we used to get coffee at a little shop by his house. At Christmas time they offered "Christmas Coffee"... and we were hooked. Then The Brother moved. I called the shop and they told me who they bought from.

So every year we order from Baltimore Coffee and Tea their "Christmas Coffee". It is the best flavored coffee ( and I do not care for flavored coffees) in the world!!! (Yes the World!). I also get a can of their Christmas Tea....it to is to die for. They can be found on line. And the Fireside Blend, Baltimore Blend, and After-Dinner blend are all most excellent. They roast your order the day they ship it. And when you open the box...it smells divine.

End of commercial message..... (unless you order some and find that you have discovered the best coffee)

Join me???

Our local convenience store chain makes and sells the best coffee. Right now they have bags of "Pumpkin Spice" to brew at home. It is so good!!! The fall morning is lovely and crisp so I can still enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch and enjoy the day. Come over sometime and join me!!! But hurry, our color is at peak right now. We shall be leafless in about 10 days.

The birds still keep me entertained. The winter birds are settling in. The blue jay returned this morning, first I have seen him since July. The cardinals have been making their presence known again, they stay through the winter. Atticus has not been around for a while and even "he" is back. The Bickerson's (the hummingbirds) are gone, I haven't noticed them for about 10 days now. I haven't seen the Goldfinches in a little over a week. I guess they finally picked their mates and took off. (It was quite a selection process too!!! There seemed to be more girls than boys and they kept the guys busy!!!) The robins left the end of August. We have had lots of flocks of the blackbirds, our yard was covered (and I mean covered) with them the other morning...I felt like I was in a Hitchcock movie!!! We are now deciding what to do with the goldfish in the pond. Get an aquarium and bring them in, or let them tough it out and see who makes it come spring. ( I hate that option...I know what really happens)
Be sure to catch the moon tonight. It is going to be gorgeous!!!
