We went to the town of Ligonier to enjoy a summer concert. The town has been around a long time, as 250 years Fort Ligonier was there during the "Frontier Years" and the French and Indian War.
It is a picturesque town.....
The "Diamond" is closed off and the folks sit in the main street.
The road is US Route 30 and stretches across PA. The original trace was cleared 250 years ago! This is the same road that goes through Gettysburg. Most of the towns along this road all have town circles...which are a delight to drive into and around!!!
In studying the oak tree in front of the town hall, I noticed that this year they are just full of acorns. Seems to be a bumper crop this year! Squirrels will be happy!
